Norcross, GA – Tricord Homes, Inc., a Virginia-based home builder, has recently been honored as a Platinum Award recipient by the nation’s leading new home warranty company, Home Buyers Warranty Corporation (2-10 HBW®).

2-10 HBW® developed the Platinum Award to celebrate a select group of builder members who achieved their 20-year anniversary as a 2-10 HBW® builder member while maintaining outstanding warranty performance, quality construction and excellence in customer satisfaction.

Tricord Homes, Inc. was started by Craig Jones and Mike Jones, cousins that shared a passion for building. Twenty years later, building nearly 100 homes annually in a variety of home styles and price points in Stafford, Spotsylvania, Orange and Caroline Counties, these cousins have garnered numerous awards for their homes as well as their involvement in the community.

In addition to their charitable efforts, Tricord Homes has consistently been a Parade of Homes Winner since 1990, and has won numerous community awards for preservation. They received a national award for the Best of Senior Housing. They won the 2007 E. Boyd Graves Award for Preservation Excellence, the 2005 Central Virginia Battlefield Trust Preservation Award, the 2005 Civil War Preservation Trust Legacy Award, the 2004 FABA Community Service Award, and awards in 2003 and 1999 for their work on preserving Civil War battlefields. They were also named in the 2000 Builder Magazine Top 100 Fastest Growing Homebuilders.
